This annual report provides an overview of the AWDREO 2023 key achievements, challenges encountered, and millstones for the year 2024. Reaffirming the AWDREO commitment to a prosperous and developed society, where we serve, the AWDREO Executive Director message highlights the organization key strategies and approach in reaching its vision and fulfilling its mission. For the transparency concern, the AWDREO annual financial overview is also integrated within this report.
In 2023, with a mission rooted in dignity, equality, and empowerment, AWDREO implemented development and humanitarian programs across Kabul, Logar, Bamyan, and Paktya provinces, directly benefiting thousands of individuals—particularly internally displaced persons (IDPs), women, children, and returnees.
