AWDREO extended its operations in 2024 and implemented the project entitled “Unconditional Seasonal Support Food” for a period of 12 months, from August 2024 to July 2025. The project aimed to cover the most vulnerable people by providing food assistance in one of the remote areas of Lal wa Sari Jangle District, Ghor Province. During the project, AWDREO, in cooperation with WFP and in coordination with CFAC and relevant line sectoral departments, conducted door-to-door surveys to identify the most vulnerable households in accordance with the donor’s selection criteria under the seasonal support program. Throughout the project period, food assistance was provided to 5,265 households in the mentioned district.
