The project titled “Distribution of Layer Chickens” was successfully implemented at the Dara-e-Foladi in center of Bamiyan Province, Afghanistan. The project was Funded by the Afghan Women’s Education Center (AWEC), this initiative ran from October 2024 to December 2024, spanning a duration of three months. Its primary goal was to enhance the livelihoods of women and girls in the Bamiyan Province by providing them with the necessary skills and resources to support themselves and their families. During the project, 15 beneficiaries have been selected and received both theoretical and practical training in poultry care, including how to manage the health and well -being of chickens, ensure their productivity as well in business management and linkage to the national market. This initiative not only addressed the immediate needs of the women by providing them with a means of livelihood, but also contributed to building their confidence and skills, empowering them to take control of their economic future.
