On the occasions of the international women’s Days on 8th March, AWDREO proposed the project entitled “Appreciation and gratitude ceremony from women doctors in Herat City” who were in the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because they are saving the people from mortality in the mentioned city. The project was funded by The Asia Foundation (TAF) and covered 120 doctors who are combating in the frontline of COVID-19 crisis especially women’s doctors, caregivers, midwives. During the ceremony, the doctors and midwives have been distributed Appreciation Certificate which all signed by MoPH Minister and other ranked people. The paper to encourage the women for hard working and more commitment for saving of vulnerable people.
