This annual report presents the AWDREO key achievements, activities carried out, challenges encountered, ways forward and acknowledgment from those involved with AWDREO through the year 2024. A financial overview has been added to address the transparency concern.
In 2024, the Action for Welfare and Development of Rural Environment Organization (AWDREO) continued its unwavering commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s most vulnerable populations amid escalating challenges and a volatile operational landscape through focused economic empowerment, humanitarian response, agriculture and mental health initiatives across five province of Afghanistan including Kabul, Bamyan, Ghor, Logar, and Paktya.
In 2024, AWDREO has reached to over 106,000 individuals, with a focus on improving food security, enhancing psychosocial support services, and promoting sustainable livelihoods, particularly for women and girls.
